Myofascial Massage and Trigger Point Therapy

These techniques aim at restoring mobility in the body's fascia and softening connective tissue that has become rigid. This treatment is excellent for chronic pain and for areas of previous injury. Myofascial massage helps break down scar tissue by using compression and slow, deep pressure without oil or lotion in the direction of the fascial planes. Trigger Point therapy tracks referred pain patterns, identifying root tension points and relieving them with compression. Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds every bone, muscle and internal organ in your body. When adhesions exist in the fascia they will often pull muscles into a state of constant spasm, rigidity and pain. book now | back to top

Chinese Cupping Therapy $70 (60 min.) | $85 (75 min.) | $95 (90 min.)

Cupping is an effective and ancient technique that releases restrictions in the muscular and facial plans, while clearing toxins quickly, and stimulating the immune system. Glass cups are applied to various points on the body, typically on the back, creating a vacuum seal which gently pulls apart restrictions in the myofascia while drawing toxins to the skin's surface. The skin is the body's largest organ and it clears the toxins quickly and efficiently because of its rich blood supply. The reddening of the skin from the cups creates a controlled immune response, bringing the body's own cellular repair to the area. This therapy may leave painless, temporary marks from the movement of vascular activity and the releasing of toxins. This is fantastic and effective therapy, especially for chronic pain. book now | back to top
